INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC DEPARTMENT
We want to thank the Darke County Endowment for the Arts for the kind donation/grant money to purchase this High School Silver Trombone. Freshman Xavier Simon was overjoyed to be chosen to play this new instrument. Xavier is very active in the music program here at Versailles. He has participated in marching band, concert band, solo and ensemble and multiple honors bands.
Respectfully,
Ronda Stammen

To Whom It May Concern:
This past year the Darke County Endowment for the Arts rewarded the Greenville Band Program $2600 to purchase a new French Horn. We were able to complete this project through Rettig Music and purchase a Conn 6D Double Horn. This gave us the opportunity to give each student their own instrument and prevent sharing of instruments. We currently have 6 French Horn players in our program and they all play on operational instruments and can now succeed at a higher level. I have forwarded a picture of the instruments with the student whom is using it. This student is Anna Chavez she is a senior is music and performs in the top choir ensembles, the top band ensemble, and was our drum major for the Greenville band of pride for 2 years. I have also attached to this email our recent holiday concert program where you can a thank you section highlighting the Darke County Endownment for the Arts for granting us this opportunity to purchase a new instrument.
