To Whom It May Concern:
This past year the Darke County Endowment for the Arts rewarded the Greenville Band Program $2600 to purchase a new French Horn. We were able to complete this project through Rettig Music and purchase a Conn 6D Double Horn. This gave us the opportunity to give each student their own instrument and prevent sharing of instruments. We currently have 6 French Horn players in our program and they all play on operational instruments and can now succeed at a higher level. I have forwarded a picture of the instruments with the student whom is using it. This student is Anna Chavez she is a senior is music and performs in the top choir ensembles, the top band ensemble, and was our drum major for the Greenville band of pride for 2 years. I have also attached to this email our recent holiday concert program where you can a thank you section highlighting the Darke County Endownment for the Arts for granting us this opportunity to purchase a new instrument.
